My name is Josette and I am the photographer here at exposures by j.linnea (ps. Linnea is my middle name, so my biz name is the shortened version of Josette Linnea)

I live in Moorhead, Minnesota with my husband and we have 3 children...all officially graduated and on their own. One in Chicago, one in Minneapolis, and the youngest in Arizona. Great places for Mom and Dad to visit. Our nest isn't completely empty though as we have 2 Golden doodles that I can love on, and they are the best puppers around.

As for photography, my journey began in 2010, but I decided to go full-time with photography and step away from my long term nursing career in 2016.

22 years as a nurse. It was a good run and I never imagined anything would steal my heart away from that career, but God had other plans. Great plans in fact. And having this second career in life has been a huge blessing.

I would love the opportunity to capture some special moments for you, so whether it's your maternity session, and your fresh newborn, your chubby little baby, sweet kiddos, your family or even your high school senior, I would thrilled to be your photographer.

I've also been doing headshots and corporate work, along with real estate photography.... and although I do get asked, I do not do weddings.

Your personalized session can be held in a gorgeous natural light studio in Fargo, and of course, I also love my outdoor evening sessions once the Minnesota and North Dakota spring, summer and fall seasons are in full swing here. It's definitely no secret that I love the golden hour and my golden hour sessions outdoors.

Hands down, it truly is the best time to shoot outdoors with that soft, glowy and warm light.
